not a religion in itself; it is actually a set of beliefs- the concepts of which are present in religions all around the world. Some religions whose practices/beliefs incorporate Animism are
Shinto, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Pantheism and Neopaganism.
Sir Edward Burnett Tylor
Edward Burnett Tylor (1832-1917) was the founder of cultural anthropology. He reintroduced the term 'Animism' into common use.
